MQ Series on Linux

This is a fairly simple project, install MQ on the server to see how easy it is to do and what it will take to integrate a linux based web system into the current AS/400 hosted app.

MQSeries installs and configures on linux just fine. I've no idea what to do with MQSeries, but it will work.

As IBM moves away from AIX this will become more useful. Currently it is possible to run linux on AIX, and many IBM apps work fine on linux, reducing the OS licensing costs significantly. Something to look at for the future might be continuing to build the AS/400 partnership with IBM and to get their assistance in migrating the backend from AIX to linux.

Note that IBM announced their end-to-end linux support on the S/390 series.
